Want to post a story on NWP?
To post a story / fan fic on NWP, you MUST first get status as a writer.
We have 3 levels of writers. Abbey, Featured, and Retired.
An Abbey author is what writers start out as. This is for many reason. Generally, new authors have never written anything before and this gives them a chance to finish a few stories, get a little more polished, etc. Also, it gives new writers to the board the knowledge of how to post stories, become involved with the community, etc. After a couple multi-chapted finished stories, or a few standalones, an Abbey Author may request to become a Featured Writer.
A Featured Writer will have a more prominate link on the main board (we are in the process of putting this back up.), and they get their story threads out of the Abbey area's and into the larger thread areas sorted by author.
A Retired Writer is one that used to be a featured writer but no longer writes, or comes to the board. They have left the fandom or real life has taken them away from us. They are still treasured and the links to their stories are still up for everyone to read and leave them reviews.
So how do you start by being an Abbey Author?
There are a few requirements:
NWP requires at least 25 posts and a 1 month membership to become an Abbey Author.
*Right now, this is being waived to promote Supernatural. If your first story to post will be a Supernatural story, then the 1 month and 25 posts is waived... this is ONLY till Jan. 1st 2006!*
The post requirement and 1 month membership is to ensure that the people who ask to become writers are really serious about posting. The last thing we or the readers want is a story to have one or two chapters and then nothing more. We want everyone to be in the community and writers participating helps in that. 
Once you meet these requirements, PM an Admin to request becoming an Abbey Author. (Fergus80, Infie, & Faithrss)
You should hear back from one of us shortly, with either the granting of the Abbey Status or (very rarely) the reason why not.
Once you have become a writer, you will then gain access to a thread that tells you exactly how to post a new story on the board.

Title: Name of Fic
Show: DA, SN, DOOL, DC, SV, etc.
Pairing: M/A, None, D/?, etc
Rating: (G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, or what rating system you use)
Summary: Basic Discription of story.

Thank you for the offer, Katie!
When we need a new administrator, we usually discuss between the administrators the members of the board who have been active for a good period of time, and who have shown good sense and maturity in working with other users.
That being said, we don't have any openings at the moment. Thanks again!
